HERE’S SOMETHING
There is a new issue of BUGUE available now! It’s still mostly about my back yard, but you’ll see Joe Winer and Wiley Hickson from issue one return, and a new standalone piece from Sara Fowler that I’ve admired for a while and she graciously reworked to fit the format. A pollen-coated bee graces the cover, and you’ll read about non-honeybee bees, ladybugs, color, and a used-book about wildflowers. This issue is slightly pricier than the first because it’s TWICE the length! Also I think maybe printing costs have gone up since I printed the first one. Ah, what can you do.
If you buy both issues and type in the code DOUBLEBUGUE, you’ll get a little discount on the pair.
IN OTHER NEWS
Here was what I shared over the last few months, in case you missed it:
I took this photo on my camera in June in NYC and was surprised by it when I developed the film a few months later. I think it’s safe to say it’s the most beautiful photo I’ve ever taken.
SPEAKING OF BEAUTIFUL THINGS
The Mexican marigold (Tagetes lemmonii) just started to flower again, and in a funny way its the herald of winter—it’ll likely be the only thing flowering heavily until the wildflowers start in a few months. Cross your fingers for rain.
UNTIL NEXT TIME
Have you pre-ordered your Caboose calendar? Do it now! I’ll be in touch with more winter wares (I think)(I hope) later this month. Thanks for reading.

Oh I love winter lighting!!!
Compliments:
Insanely good bagel pic!
The bee round up in this issue of Bugue is to die for. The bee in the mallow!! My heart! I can't help but think of all the time you must have spent in the flowers waiting for these special bee moments. It paid off!
Every single one of your secret posts was a treasure!
Thanks for inviting me into the hallowed pages of Bugue, dear friend! A supreme honor <3
